Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise set a number of box office records across the country and the song Ooo Antava also became one of the most popular songs following its release. The song continues to create a buzz to date. And now, Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor Ranveer Singh has named the Telugu number as his favourite song.

Speaking in an interview with India Today, Ranveer said, “I think one of my favourite songs from the recent past is Ooo Antava. I go mad when they play it. I don't understand the song but that music touches me. It does something to me.”

The Hindi version of the song just like its other language variants became immensely popular with the Hindi speaking audience. The Hindi version of the full video song has over 273 million views on YouTube with over 3 million upvotes. Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the song’s Hindi lyrics are written by Raqueeb Alam and sung by Kanika Kapoor.

Another highlight of the song was the special appearance made by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is a massive name in the South Indian industry today. Co-written and directed by Sukumar, the makers will also return with the movie’s second part titled, Pushpa: The Rule.
