Amid the ongoing second season, the makers announced the big news about the show's renewal.
Hulu's Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for Season Three. The comedy series' critically praised second season had just started airing when the news broke. The second season's first two episodes launched on June 28. Thereafter, fresh episodes will air on the streamer every Tuesday and on Disney+ Hotstar in India.
Only Murders in the Building according to Craig Erwich, president of Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, is the real gem of our lineup. According to Variety, he said that Dan, John, Steve, Marty, and Selena's work is distinguished by and a testament to the junction of humour and heart, its truly innovative approach, and its appeal across generations. Since viewers have repeatedly shown them that they want more of this story, they are grateful to be able to keep sharing the stories of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel.
Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez are the series' main actors. Cara Delevingne, Vanessa Aspillaga, Da'Vine Shirley MacLaine and Amy Schumer are additional Season Two cast members.
The ensemble recently joked with Variety during a press tour about how long they'd like the show to run. Martin remarked that he supposes one takes it one at a time. Until he is in a walker, that's how long he would like to do the show.
Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez) strive to identify Bunny Folger's killer in Season 2 following her terrible death. However, three unfavourable issues arise: the trio is widely accused of killing Bunny; they are now the focus of a rival podcast; and they must cope with a group of New York neighbours who all believe they killed Bunny.
Martin and John Hoffman wrote Only Murders in the Building. Together with Short, Gomez, Dan Fogelman, and Jess Rosenthal, both are executive producers, and the studio is 20th Television.
