Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe first single - Vinay Rajkumar serenades through Armaan Malik's soothing voice

Titled Ninyaarele the song is a soulful romantic number sung by the very popular Armaan Malik.

Vinay Rajkumar is surely among the growing list of young talents in Kannada Cinema and 2024, one expects, to be a landmark year for him. One of the multiple films (hopefully) up for release this year is his collaboration with "Simple" Suni, the romance drama titled 'Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe' which promises to present the actor in a new shade. The makers have unveiled a new sample of the film in the form of a song, to mark the new year.

Titled Ninyaarele the song is a soothing romantic number sung by the very popular Armaan Malik. The lyrical video version reveals that in the context of the film, the song could be seen as a serenade coming from the male protagonist for a mystery woman. Suni has also written the lyrics of the song along with Siddu Kodipura with Veer Samarth composing the music.

Music, one gathers, is an important feature of 'Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe' largely because Vinay Rajkumar (as Athishay) plays an aspiring music composer in the film. Veer Samarth and Suni are said to have put as many as 11 songs for the film which has been described by the makers as a "musical odyssey". Vinay's real-life father and actor Raghavendra Rajkumar will be seen in a special role in the film as his on-screen music teacher.

Ninyaarele is the first single out from the soundtrack and one can expect more songs to be dropped in the lead-up to the release. The shooting of 'Ondu Sarala Prema Kathe' was completed in November 2023 and one can expect the release date to be announced shortly. Mallika Singh and Swathista Krishnan play the female leads in the film.

On the other hand, Vinay Rajkumar's admirers are keenly looking forward to the release of 'Pepe', a gritty crime drama directed by Shreelesh S. Nair. Alongside, the actor has 'Andodittu Kaala' and 'Gramayana', too, up for release.
