Soundarya Rajinikanth directed the 2014 Tamil animated historical action film Kochadaiiyaan: The Legend while K. S. Ravikumar was the writer. Based on myths from Hinduism, the film depicts a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD. The film features Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. On June 27, 2024, it will finally hit theatres across the globe.
