If you are a fan of superstar Akshay Kumar, rejoice! Har Har Mahadev – the latest soundtrack of the highly-anticipated movie OMG 2 is out now.

Zee Music Company, the official music partner of the upcoming movie, released the song today on its official YouTube handle. “#AkshayKumar #HarHarMahadev #OMG2,” read the caption of the video shared by the music company.

Not only this, but Akshay Kumar also shared the song on Twitter today. In his post, he attached the video of the song and tweeted, “#HarHarMahadev song out now: http://bit.ly/HarHarMahadevOMG2… #OMG2 in theatres on August 11.”

The song is powerfully sung and composed by Vikram Montrose and its lyrics are penned by Shekhar Astitwa.

Noticeably, in the song, Akshay Kumar looks powerful and fierce in the dance number. In the movie, Akshay portrays an avatar of Lord Shiva.

A sequel to the much-celebrated OMG-Oh My God OMG 2 is a social comedy/drama starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in lead roles. The film will be released in theatres on August 11, 2023.

The first film of the series was directed by Umesh Shukla and the upcoming movie, OMG 2 is directed by Amit Rai.

About a day ago, multiple reports suggested that OMG 2 is likely to be awarded an ‘A’ certificate. This means that the movie can be viewed theatrically only by adults or people above 18 years of age.

Not only this, but a committee under the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has also asked the makers of the movie to release the film only after chopping off 20 parts from it.

A report by Bollywood Hungama states, “The makers are not comfortable with these cuts as they believe that it’ll affect the essence of the film. They are also not okay with an ‘A’ certificate. After all, they feel that the topic of sex education should be seen by people of all ages. Also, the first part, OMG Oh My God (2012) is very popular with kids. To have an adult certificate for a film in a kid-friendly franchise just doesn’t feel right, in their opinion.”

Now only time will tell what the future of the movie appears to be like.
