OMG 2: Release date, plot, cast, OTT, budget, and everything you need to know about this Akshay Kumar starrer

OMG 2 is a follow-up to the popular 2012 film "OMG - Oh My God," which starred Akshay and Paresh Rawal. Akshay will be seen playing Lord Shiva's messenger in the movie.

The Hindi satirical comedy-drama film OMG 2 is all set to make its way to the theatres. The movie stars Pankaj Tripathi as Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devoted Shiva devotee who sues the educational system for deceiving his kid, Akshay Kumar as the messenger of Lord Shiva, and Yami Gautam as the attorney who aids him in his case.

OMG 2's cast is comprised of an impressive group of actors. The primary character is once again played by the versatile actor Akshay Kumar. The gifted Yami Gautam, who has received recognition for her performances in several films, will be joining him. Pankaj Tripathi, who is renowned for his flawless acting abilities, is also an add on to the cast. Arun Govil, Aamir Naik, Fahim Fazli, Vedika Nawani, Parth Siddhpura, and other actors are included in the movie, which promises a strong performance from the complete cast.

The Amit Rai directorial is slated to open in theatres across India on August 11, 2023. The movie's budget is expected to be around 150 crore, making it one of Akshay Kumar's most expensive productions. On August 3, 2023, the movie's trailer was released, and both the public and critics responded favourably.

The OTT platform of OMG 2 is not announced yet but reports suggest that the film might get a release on either Voot or Jio Cinema.

Amalendu Chaudhary handled the movie's cinematography.

OMG 2 will clash with Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma starrer Gadar 2 at the box office.
