OMG 2 has opened in theaters, and both reviewers and audience have given it rave reviews. It is one of the most eagerly awaited movies of the year, the follow-up to the smash hit movie OMG - Oh My God! from 2012. The movie is directed by Amit Rai and has Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam in the key roles. A ordinary guy, played by Tripathi, challenges the system with the aid of a God's messenger, played by Kumar, in this movie about sex education in Indian schools.

The movie released today, i.e. on August 11, 2023. Gadar 2, a sequel to the 2001 hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, released on the same day as the movie. Given the star power and fan bases of the stars, both movies are predicted to have a huge opening weekend at the box office.

According to the reports, OMG 2 is generating a lot of buzz among viewers and will likely perform well in both multiplexes and single screens. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) also awarded the movie a "A" rating, which may limit its appeal to family viewers. However, it is clear that the film's original idea and the returning fan base from the first installment will be crucial factors in luring spectators to the theaters.

According to the OMG 2 advance box office report, it is anticipated that this Akshay Kumar starrer will make over Rs. 7 crore on its opening day. Depending on word-of-mouth and reviews, the movie's take may rise over the course of the weekend. The movie is anticipated to bring in about Rs. 8 crore on Saturday and Rs. 9 crore on Sunday, bringing in roughly Rs. 24 crore in its opening weekend.
