OMG 2 box office collection Day 7: Akshay Kumar starrer sees the lowest earning on Thursday

Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 is carving its niche steadily and slowly day by day after getting hit by a barrage of controversies and backlashes. However, the Amit Rai directorial witnessed the lowest box office collection on Thursday by minting merely a little over Rs 5 crore. However, the film seems just a few days ahead of its entry into the 100-crore club.

According to a report on Sacnilk.com, OMG 2 minted its least collection on Thursday with Rs 5.25 crore. On the other hand, its counterpart Gadar 2 has been seeing roaring success since its blockbuster opening day. Even after hearing the lowest on its seventh day, the Sunny Deol starrer managed to collect over Rs 22 crore.

OMG 2 follows the tale of a devotee of Lorn Shiva, who fights for his son against his school, which throws the teenage boy out of the school on charges of immoral conduct. The movie pursues a scenic, satirical as well as intense courtroom drama that sees Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam fighting a sensitive case against each other.

Even after a lot of negative talks about the story of the film, the cinephiles seemed to love the performances of the three talented actors in OMG 2. Soon after the release of the film, cinephiles took to their personal social media handles and shared their thoughts on the film.
