OMG 2 box office collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar's film shows growth on Saturday, earns Rs 15 crore despite 'A' certificate

OMG 2, starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam, has experienced a respectable increase on its second day in theaters. The movie, a follow-up to the 2012 hit 'OMG - Oh My God!', brought in Rs 15.30 crore on Saturday, bringing its overall revenue in India to Rs 25.56 crore.

Amit Rai's film OMG 2 explores the subject of sex education and the place of religion in it. After making 27 adjustments in accordance with the CBFC's recommendations, the movie was awarded a "A" certificate. Nevertheless, despite these obstacles, OMG 2 has impressed critics and viewers alike with its fearless approach to a delicate subject. The movie has also benefited from positive word-of-mouth and Akshay Kumar's star power; in the movie, he portrays a messenger for Lord Shiva.

Gadar 2, a follow-up to the popular 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, is giving OMG 2 a tough competition at the box office. It stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. With its patriotic and romantic drama, Gadar 2 has been ruling the box office, bringing in Rs 83 crore in only two days.

On Sunday, which is also Independence Day, OMG 2 is anticipated to have an additional increase.

In OMG 2, which is directed by Amit Rai, Akshay Kumar portrays Lord Shiva's messenger, and Pankaj Tripathi portrays a devout believer. Yami Gautam plays an advocate in the film.
