Exactly one month before the movie is released in theatres, a teaser trailer is unveiled.
Before the postponement, OMG 2 was supposed to compete alongside two other films starring Ranbir Kapoor and helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga on August 11: Animal and Sunny Deol's Gadar 2. The producers of Animal however, have revealed a new release date. On December 1, the movie will hit theatres. However, Gadar 2 does not move on August 11 for the Independence Day holiday.
The most recent film starring Akshay Kumar to hit theatres was February's Selfiee. Emraan Hashmi, Nushratt Bharuccha, and Diana Penty also appeared in the remake of the Malayalam film Driving Licence. In a recent announcement, Akshay revealed the release date and unveiled the official poster for Housefull 5. Diwali 2024 will see the release of the film that reteams Akshay with Riteish Deshmukh.
Later this year, Akshay Kumar will co-star alongside Tiger Shroff in the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. His Hindi version of Soorarai Pottru was set to premiere that September. The film's debut, however, has been pushed back until February of next year.
