Aadujeevitham’s Omane song, which features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul, is finally out. AR Rahman composed the melody, which is sung by Chinmayi Sripaada, Vijay Yesudas, and Rakshita Suresh.
Aadujeevitham, the highly anticipated Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer which is helmed by senior filmmaker Blessy, is set to hit the theatres on March 28, 2024. The survival drama has garnered the attention of cine-goers with its exceptional teaser, and the soulful songs composed by Academy award-winning musician AR Rahman. The most-awaited Omane song from the film, which features lead pair Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul, has finally been released on social media.
The soulful romantic number, which is penned by Rafeeq Ahammed, portrays the poetic love story of protagonist Najeeb and his beloved wife Sainu. The Omane song, which reportedly appears in the flashback portions of the Blessy directorial, depicts the subtle romance of the lead pair in the backdrop of the breathtakingly beautiful backwaters. As leading man, Prithviraj Sukumaran stated in one of his recent interviews, AR Rahman’s beautiful melody instantly reminds us of water, and Kerala’s monsoon season.
The soothing voice of Chinmayi Sripaada, the celebrated singer who made a comeback to Malayalam cinema after a long break with Aadujeevitham, is the heart and soul of the Omane song. Vijay Yesudas also shines equally in this melody, while the ‘Oppana’ song portions sung by Rakshita Suresh add the much-needed rhythm. Chinmayi has crooned this soulful melody in all five language versions, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Director Blessy once again proves that he has truly inherited the skills of showcasing romance on celluloid from his guru, legendary director Padmarajan, with the Omane song visuals. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Amala Paul, the popular actor who are paired opposite each other for the first time in Aadujeevitham, steal the show with their subtle onscreen chemistry.
As reported earlier, Aadujeevitham has been slated to release on around 550 screens across the world, on March 28, 2024. The movie, which is the dream project of director Blessy, was conceptualized in 2009 and started rolling in 2018. After the multiple delays caused by logistic issues, the pandemic, and multiple lockdowns. The Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer is expected to have a massive opening at the box office, considering the huge pre-release hype.
