The third week of October 2021 has multiple releases on OTT platforms streaming in English, Hindi, Tamil and Punjabi languages.

October Week 3 releases

It's a festive time in the third week of October. With Dussehra being celebrated on October 15, 2021, several Indian titles are releasing in and around that date. Among the most awaited films include Rashmi Rocket and Sardar Udham in Hindi while Tamil film Udanpirappe is also getting a release on OTT this week. Moreover, Little Things is coming one last time for the final season.

Talking about the English titles, You season three is finally making its way on Netflix much to the excitement of the fans. Whereas the series adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer is streaming on Amazon Prime Video this week.

Another Life season 2 - October 14 (Netflix)

Another Life is about an astronaut named Niko Breckinridge played by Katee Sackhoff who is focused on searching for alien intelligence. She leads a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artefact. As they start investigating, Niko and her young crew face unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.

The second season will see them witnessing the annihilation of a planet and how they negotiate with aliens who are capable of such brutality.

I Know What You Did Last Summer - October 15 (Amazon Prime Video)

A group of teenagers are stalked by a mysterious killer a year after a fatal accident on their graduation night in this upcoming series. The series adaptation of the hit movie is set in a town full of secrets.

Jinne Jamme Saare Nikamme - October 14 (ZEE5)

Middle-age couple Niranjan Singh and Satwant Kaur, parents of four sons, live in a village on the outskirts of Mohali, Punjab. However, their children don't have any time for them. So they decide to have another child.

Just Beyond - October 13 (Disney+ Hotstar)

The upcoming anthology series is of comedy, fantasy and horror genres. It's based on the graphic novels by RL Stine.

Rashmi Rocket is a story about a small-town girl who breaks all societal barriers and becomes a national-level athlete. However, she faces an obstacle when she is asked to undergo a gender test.

Sardar Udham is about the Indian Revolutionary who assassinated Michael O Dwyer in London, the man behind the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre on April 13, 1919.

A full-time bank employee and part-time kabaddi coach want to bring national relevance to the school his father built. He wants to help young kabaddi players in his village win the national championship.

Succession season 3 - October 18 (Disney+ Hotstar)

The series tracks the lives of the Roy family. They are contemplating their future once their ageing father (Brian Cox) begins to step back from the media and entertainment conglomerate they control.

The Forgotten Battle - October 15 (Netflix)

In November 1944, on the flooded island of Walcheren in Zeeland, thousands of allies fight the German army. The film touches upon the lives of three young people who are inextricably connected. One is a Dutch boy fighting for the Germans, while another is an English glider pilot. Whereas the Zeeland girl reluctantly joins the resistance and become involved. They all face crucial choices that are not only about their freedom but also about others.

Two couples meet again after a four-week partner swap. They are in a remote beach house where they discover that everything has changed. Their feelings are put to the test, their life choices and expectations are reevaluated.
