The actors have reunited on the big screen with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
It was a delightful sight for many to see Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla in the same frame at the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan trailer launch. In Satish Kaushik's film Tere Naam (2003), the actors starred opposite one another. People are talking about how excited they are to see both of them together after nearly two decades. However, not only in Tere Naam and Kisi Ki Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Salman and Bhumika have shared the screen in one more film.
Yes, we are talking about Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa (2003), which marked the directorial debut of Atul Agnihotri. The film featured Salman and Bhumika alongside Preity Zinta in the lead roles. The film is the Hindi remake of the Hollywood film, Return to Me (2000).
In Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa both Rishabh (Salman) and Pari (Preity) are smitten with one another. She works as a doctor, and he works for an advertising firm. After their marriage, Pari becomes pregnant. Building a children's hospital is Pari's lifelong ambition. Unfortunately, Pari has a terrible accident in which she and the infant passed away. Pari bequeaths the hospital her heart in her testament. Rishabh is saddened and disagrees with the idea of a heart donation. Nonetheless, the hospital grants Pari's final request. After struggling with melancholy, Rishabh starts Pari's mission to build a hospital for ailing kids. In the meantime, Dhani (Bhumika), a young woman, has received Pari's heart through transplantation. As Dhani and Rishabh cross paths, she feels a strong attraction to him right away, but Rishabh ignores her and is preoccupied with Pari's memories.
The film, however, was a box office failure.
Meanwhile, talking about Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in the film, Salman is paired opposite Pooja Hegde. While Bhumika plays Venkatesh Daggubati's onscreen wife.
The Farhad Samji directorial is hitting the big screens on the occasion of Eid 2023, that is, April 21, 2023.
