The movie will have a world premiere in London, before its theatrical release,
The 25th James Bond movie No Time To Die has been a matter of discussion for a while now due to the uncertainty about its theatrical release. After much speculation, the movie is set to reach the UK theatres on September 30, while it reaches the US audience on October 8. The release date in India is yet to be confirmed and is expected to be announced soon.
The upcoming spy movie, which is the 25th in the James Bond series, stars Daniel Craig for the fifth time as the iconic British M16 secret agent. Craig has also stated that this is going to be his final Bond film. Helmed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the movie also has Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright and Ralph Fiennes.
The plot of the film revolves around James Bond against a mysterious villain who has a dangerous new technology as a weapon.
The screenplay is by John Hodge and Fukunaga. Danny Boyle was earlier on board to co-write the screenplay with John Hodge, but the two parted ways due to creative differences. Fukunaga took Boyle’s place a month later and, the majority of the cast was fixed by April 2019.
The movie was initially scheduled for a release in November 2019. It was postponed many times due to Boyle’s exit and the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
