If you have been eagerly awaiting the chance to stream Thalapathy Vijay's Leo from the comfort of your home on November 16, brace yourself for disappointment.

Several leading online publications claimed that the OTT release of Leo will happen on Thursday, less than four weeks after its initial theatrical release. However, Netflix, the movie's official streaming partner, has not confirmed the digital premiere date for Leo yet.

Earlier, there was confusion among fans when Netflix announced the premiere date for its animation film Leo , leading some to mistakenly believe it referred to Thalapathy Vijay's film.

At the time of writing this report, Netflix has not provided the date when Vijay's Leo will be available for streaming on its platform.

Leo was expected to arrive on streaming after an exclusive four-week theatrical run . And this must have caused many to wrongly predict the film's OTT release date.

As far as the film's digital release is concerned, the producers seem to keeping all updates under wraps. It seems like a strategic move as any news related to the film's streaming availability could potentially impact its box office performance.

Given the lukewarm response to actor Karthi's recent release Japan, among both audiences and critics, Leo is taking over screens in several theatres across Tamil Nadu. It's likely that the OTT release of Leo will be delayed for a few more days to capitalize on the weekend rush at the box office.

While expectations are high for Leo to arrive on streaming by the end of next week, an official confirmation is awaited.

Leo is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Besides Vijay, it also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, and Gautham Menon in the supporting cast.
