Jana Gana Mana director Dijo Jose Anthony's Nivin Pauly-starrer has also begun shooting
After beginning the shoot of Haneef Adeni's film in January 2023, Nivin Pauly is now set to start work on his next film this year that will be helmed by Jana Gana Mana director Dijo Jose Antony.
The Thuramukham actor wrapped up the first schedule of Haneef's film in the UAE after shooting for 55 days. The team is expected to resume the second schedule soon.

In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Nivin said that the film is an all-out commercial entertainer unlike his recent releases such as Padavettu and Thuramukham. The yet-to-be-titled movie also has Mamitha Baiju, Arsha Baiju, Vinay Forrt, Jaffer Idukki and Vijilesh as part of the cast.
The team has recently revealed a few photos from the sets of the movie that has Nivin flaunting a trimmed avatar.
Meanwhile, his next film that will be directed by Dijo and scripted by Sharis Mohammed has also gone on floors. The film, which has Jakes Bejoy as its composer, had the pooja function on Friday.
The movie, which is also produced by Magic Frames, will have a short schedule in Dubai before the team returns to Kerala for its extensive schedule. Dijo's film is also touted to be an entertainer.
Dijo's latest movie Jana Gana Mana, which was also scripted by Sharis, has been selected to be screened at the Bangalore International Film Festival. The movie, which has Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Mamta Mohandas in the lead, is currently available to stream on Netflix.
Nivin’s latest release is Thuramukham, which is helmed by Rajeev Ravi. The movie is expected to begin streaming on Sony LIV and will be available on OTTplay Premium after its theatrical run. The multi-starrer period film, which is set in the 1940s and 50s, also has Indrajith Sukumaran, Arjun Ashokan, Darshana Rajendran, Poornima Indrajith and Joju George as part of its cast.
