Nithya Menen is currently on a high after winning the National Film Award 2024 for Best Actress. The talented actress won the prestigious award for her performance as the sweet, sensible, and funny Shobana in Thiruchitrambalam,  the Mithran R Jawahar directorial. As the super hit movie completed two years after its release, Nithya Menen took to her official social media handles and posted a long, heartwarming note. In the note, she especially mentioned her beloved co-stars Dhanush, Prakash Raj, and Bharathiraja.

The National Award-winner, penned a long, heartwarming note, as Thiruchitrambalam completed two years of its release. Nithya Menen thanked both the regional and central jury of National Film Awards 2024, along with all her fans, well-wishers, and the team members of the film, in her note. “2 years of Thiruchitrambalam today :) We could all not meet for this one, but it still comes with a celebration. I think it’s poetic justice that my first National Award should come for us through this film. What an experience it has been,” reads Nithya’s post.

“Thank you everyone who called me, who were jumping with joy, who were so overwhelmed and couldn’t speak. To everyone who I have never met, but who have so much love for me in their heart and bless me from a distance, and always wished this so intensely,” she wrote. “What a blessing it is when people root for you so personally,” further added the actress. “This is a genuine Thank You to the regional and central jury of National Awards 2024, for recognizing and awarding this film,” wrote Nithya Menen, who further thanked the jury for acknowledging that even performances that look simple on the outside are not simple to do.

Nithya’s special note for Thiruchitrambalam co-stars

The talented actress, who expressed her great fondness for her Thiruchitrambalam co-stars Dhanush, Bharathiraja, and Prakash Raj in her post, thanked them for being vocal about her strengths. “For Thiruchitrambalam, any award that any of us gets, will belong to, and be shared by all four of us equally. Because I have never before been a part of a film where the lead actors have contributed so equally to the performance of the film as a whole. So, this is one quarter Bharathiraja sir, @joinprakashraj, @dhanushkraja, and mine. I love you guys a lot,” wrote Nithya Menen, who also shared some lovely stills from the sets of the film in her post.
