Nithin is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu cinema and does back-to-back films. But in the last year or so, all his films have only flopped at the box office. But this has not stopped him from signing big films in his career and he has started shooting for two of his films with Venky Kudumula and Vakkantam Vamsi.
Nithin and Dil Raju team up again
As per the latest update, Nithing has teamed up with the popular production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations which has made big films in the past and is owned by Dil Raju. This noted banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations is bringing yet another crazy combination as Nithin has teamed up with director Sriram Venu, who last directed Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab, which was also produced by Boney Kapoor and Dil Raju.

Well, the film was launched today on a prestigious note in Hyderabad. Famous financier Prasad sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while director Anil Ravipudi switched on the camera. Filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally directed the first shot.
History behind Thammudu title
As per the update from the makers, the movie has been titled Thammudu. Incidentally, Pawan Kalyan also did a film with the same title and it was a box office success and took the star's craze to the next level. Well, as Nithin is also an ardent fan of Pawan Kalyan, he has used this title.
Thammudu cast and crew
Fans are super happy that Nithin has named his film after a classic and are hoping that their star hero will make a solid comeback. Thammudu is the 56th film being produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations under the production of Dil Raju. Popular DOP Sethu (Satyajit Pande), who worked for masterpiece films like Dangal, Kahaani and Taare Zameen Par will be working as cinematographer for this film.

The regular shooting of this movie will start from September 1, 2023. After Dil and Srinivasa Kalyanam, this is the third collaboration of Nithiin with Dil Raju's banner. On the other hand, director Sriram Venu made many successful films with SVC including Nani's MCA and Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab.
