Bigg Boss 16 fame Abdu Rozik's engagement news came as a surprise to everyone. The 20-year-old singer exchanged rings with a woman named Amira last month. Abdu's engagement pictures soon went viral on the internet. It was followed by the reality show contestant confirming that he would be getting married to Amira on July 7, 2024. Soon he started getting good wishes from his Bigg Boss 16 friends and Bollywood celebrities. Now, in an interview, Abdu's friend Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has also reacted to the news of his wedding, which will take place after two months.

Speaking with ETimes TV, Nirmit Kaur Ahluwalia mentioned she wasn't shocked upon hearing the news of Abdu Rozik's engagement. The actress said she got hints about his marriage earlier. "I am just very happy for him. It’s like such a new beginning to his entire life. I wish him all the love, luck and companionship. I am just so happy for him. I think everyone deserves to have a partner for a lifetime. I am so happy he’s getting into that stage of life," added Ahluwalia.
Nimrit further revealed that Abdu always wanted to get married. The actress added that Rozik would often joke about it and now his dream has come true. For the uninitiated, Abdu and Nimrit were good friends on Bigg Boss 16. However, by the time BB 16 came to an end, the 20-year-old distanced himself from Nimrit but remained on cordial terms.

Meanwhile, Abdu Rozik has confirmed that his wedding will take place on July 7 in Sharjah. The singer also revealed to the Hindustan Times that his wedding will be attended by his celebrity friends. He wants Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to be a part of his big day as well.
