Nikhil Siddhartha's SPY is one of the most awaited films in Telugu as it is an action drama shot on a stylish note and the biggest film of his career. Garry BH, the noted editor, has turned director for this film which has a connection with the late freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose. This itself has created a good buzz for the film.

But this connection of Subhash Chandra Bose has also created an issue with the general audience. Many think that SPY is the official biopic of Subhash Chandra Bose and this has put the makers in a bit of tension. So, clarifying this aspect, Nikhil has revealed to us that SPY is not a biopic of Subhash Chandra Bose and only the basic reference to his missing away has a connection to the story. How it is done and what has the main lead to do with it is the story of SPY, says Nikhil.

Nikhil Siddhartha gave a solid hit with the film Karthikeya 2 which gave him a wide recognition India wide. Rana Daggubati has done a cameo in the film and the makers revealed the glimpse at the end of the teaser. He too will be gracing the pre-release event that will be held today and promote the film.

Produced by K Raja Shekhar Reddy on Ed Entrainments, the special aspect is that K Raja himself has penned the story for this action drama. Sricharan Pakala composed the music. SPY is also releasing on a Pan-India level and Nikhil is quite thrilled that the film is getting such a massive release. Iswarya Menon is playing the female lead in SPY.
