Shilpa Shetty, Abhimanyu Dassani's Nikamma is finally out in theatres and it's receiving mixed reviews. The Hindi remake of the Nani starrer Telugu action-drama film, Middle Class Abbayi, also has Shirley Setia in her Bollywood debut.

The fans had been anticipating a lot from the Sabbir Khan directorial, however, most of them are disappointed with the performance of the actors as well as the execution of the story by the makers.

One of the movie buffs took the review to Twitter and wrote, "#Nikamma Review : Truly a Nikamma remake of #MiddleClassAbbayi with double twist. Shilpa Shetty springs a nice surprise and she is the only one who acts in the film, the rest of the cast disappoints, rather does overacting. Just skip it, and don't even go for MCA. (sic)."

Meanwhile, KRK shared a stat of the film's screeners all over the country that says, "Morning shows of film #Nikamma were cancelled all over India because of no audience. Noon shows are having 4 to 5% occupancy. Means day1 business will be approx Rs.5 Lakhs. (Sic)."

One of the netizens re-tweeted the Ek Villain actor's post and mentioned, "Sir jab film ka name hi #Nikamma ha to screens kaisy zyada hongi (sic)."

The viewers have mixed reactions to Shirley's performance as well.

One of the fans praised the actor's stint and film and wrote, "#NikammaReview MASALA ENTERTAINERR @ShirleySetia pahli baar tumhe bade screen pr dekha bahut achha feel hua tumhare scenes ko baar-baar repeat me dekhne ka man kar rha tha, jo possible nahi tha, bahut achhi movie thi, congratulations to the entire team of #Nikamma (sic)."

However, a movie-goer Tweeted that everything in the movie is fine except Shirley's overacting and a few cheesy dialogues.
