Sri Prawin Kumar directs the show written by Priyadarshini Ram and produced by People Media Factory for aha
People Media Factory, the banner that has come up with consecutive releases in the recent months - Karthikeya 2, Dhamaka, Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi and Ramabanam - is back to make its presence felt in the digital space. They’re coming up with a web show for aha titled Newsense, starring Navdeep, Bindu Madhavi in the lead, created and directed by Sri Prawin Kumar.
The cast, crew of the film came together for the trailer launch held in Hyderabad today. The glimpse starts with chants hailing politician Nagi Reddy followed by a crime - reportedly an encounter between smugglers and cops in Madanapalli, which may have a link to a popular leader. A series of dialogues by the cops and the reporter (Navdeep) discuss the significance of power.
The trailer takes you through a series of action sequences while politicians and cops try to assert their authority in the region. Romance blossoms between two journalists and a series of intense montages, emotional moments keep you hooked. The captivating background score by Suresh Bobbili contributes to the excitement. The slick, well-cut trailer sets the tone well for Newsense.
The makers also released a single from the show - Myneeru Pillagada - sung by actress Hari Teja recently. Two teasers of Newsense and continuous promotional activity has helped the show stay in the news for the right reasons. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, with Vivek Kuchibhotla as the co-producer, the web series has three cinematographers - Vedaraman, Anantnag Kavuri and Prasanna Kumar.
With story and screenplay by popular mediaperson Priyadarshini Ram, the dialogues are by Jayasimha Neelam. The crew of the show also includes art director Kiran Mamidi, editor Srinivas Bainaboyina. Satya Bhavana Kadambari is the content head for the project while Sasikiran Narayana (daughter of MS Narayana) is the creative head and the executive producer respectively.
