Newcomer Jayanth to make his debut with the action thriller Nelson

Another youngster is set to test his fortunes in the Telugu film industry. Jayanth will be making his acting debut with the titular role in an action thriller Nelson. Sai Sunil Nimmala will be helming the actioner; he has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues. Nelson is bankrolled by Jayanth Karthik under JK Movies (the first production in the banner). Anusha Rai and Sehar Krishnan have been roped in to play the female leads in the project.

Nelson will be packed with jaw-dropping action sequences and promises enough adrenaline rush with the thrills. The film officially took off with a pooja ceremony held at the production banner's office earlier this week. Several leading actors are on board to play key roles in the film including Ananda Chakrapani, Shani, Harikrishna Chadavadam, Pushpa fame Raju, Divya, Naveena Reddy, Raja Reddy, Santosh Singh, Chandu B and others.

The film's first schedule will commence in Rajahmundry shortly. In addition to Rajahmundry, the makers of Nelson have planned shoots at several locations in the vicinity of Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and other places. Ajay Patnaik has been roped in as a composer while Siva Devarakonda is the art director. Shivraj will choreograph the action sequences with MR Varma handling the edits. Lyricists Kasarla Shyam, Manoj, Giri, Jayanth, Sai Sunil are part of the crew too. Purshothama Raju is the sound designer.

Announcing the launch of Nelson, the makers have released a series of posters featuring the lead actor Jayanth. While in a poster, the male lead appears injured, while holding a gun and has various guns pointed at him. In another poster, we could see him sporting shades and smoking a cigarette in style.
