While director Lokesh Kanagaraj has cut an adrenaline-inducing trailer, he has cleverly steered clear of any hints that could connect Leo to his earlier blockbusters Vikram and Kaithi.
The much-awaited trailer of Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, was released on October 5. As expected the trailer created a lot of fan frenzy both online and offline. The theatres that screened trailers for the frenzied fans suffered significant property damage. That was the extent of the hype and craze that the upcoming Thalapathy starrer enjoys among the movie buffs.
While director Lokesh Kanagaraj has cut an adrenaline-inducing trailer, he has cleverly steered clear of any hints that could connect Leo to his earlier blockbusters Vikram and Kaithi. The trailer didn't answer the question of whether or not Leo was part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe, which is popularly known as LUC. However, the answer that fans didn't find in the trailer, seems to have been found in a new synopsis for Leo on a ticketing platform.

Synopsis spoil the Leo secret
A screenshot of Leo's page on TICKETNEW platform has revealed the LUC link. As per the synopsis, "Given the fact that this movie is a part of Lokesh's LCU, Kamal Haasan, Karthi, Arjun Das and Suriya will all appear in a few scenes."
The synopsis on TGV Cinemas, a Malaysia-based cinema chain, has also claimed that other key characters from LCU, including Fahadh Faasil were part of the Leo cast.

"You will only find that out after watching the movie. We will not reveal till the release," Lalit said during a recent discussion on X, formerly Twitter.
Leo is now getting ready to hit the screens on October 19. Besides Vijay, the movie also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Priya Anand, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy Master, and Mathew Thomas.
