The ZEE5 series Never Kiss Your Best Friend became an instant hit on its release on ZEE5. The series tells the story of best friends Tanie and Sumer, played by Anya Singh and Nakuul Mehta respectively. And now, they will be back with the new season soon. The makers had released a trailer for the upcoming season, which took the internet by storm and fans can't wait to watch the two and explore their complicated lives and relationship.

The new season of the show will see Singh and Mehta reprise their roles from the previous season. It will also feature new cast members Karan Wahi and Sarah-Jane Dias in pivotal roles. Wahi will be seen playing the role of Karan Saxena, a popular actor and his entry along with Dias' Lavanya into the lives of Tanie and Sumer only lead to further complications and drama.

Excited to be a part of the show, Wahi recently shared why he finds the show relatable. He said in a statement that the series is a young show. "I do relate to it as it’s about what happens in real life instances. Everyone faces complications in love or in friendship and it's very colloquial," he added.

The series is based on Sumrit Shahi's book by the same name. Directed by Harsh Dedhia and produced by 11:11 Productions, season two also stars Jaaved Jaffri, and Nikki Walia, among other supporting actors. The new season aims to answer the quintessential question that everyone wants to know: Can you become best friends with your ex? The eight-episode series will premiere on ZEE5 on April 29.
