Amid Koffee With Karan 8 row, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been serving major couple goals with their public appearances. The actress was heavily criticised for her statement on the show. She received backlash for admitting that she didn't want to commit at one point in the relationship with Ranveer. Cut to now, Ranveer and Deepika indulged in PDA after exiting a wedding reception last night.

A paparazzo shared Ranveer and Deepika's video on Instagram. In the clip, the married couple can be seated in a luxurious car while exiting the wedding reception venue. Ranveer lovingly held his wife's hand. However, netizens had a different take on the couple's PDA.

A social media user took to the comment section and penned, "At this point..they need to stop trying Hard...their perfect couple image failed miserably so the least they can do is being real instead of this hold my hand the camera is her thing (sic)." Another netizen added, "Showing off (sic)."

During her appearance on Koffee With Karan 8 the Padmaavat actress revealed why she didn't wish to give a commitment to Ranveer.

"I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said, 'I just don't want to be attached; I don't want to be committed'. And I had fun! And then he comes along, so I didn't commit until he proposed to me. There was no 'commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other," she said.

What's next for Deepika?

On the work front, Deepika will next be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. The film, directed by Sidharth Anand, also stars Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 25, 2024. She also has Rohit Shetty's Singham Again with Ajay Devgn lined up.

The actress' last theatrical film was Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan. Deepika had an extended cameo in Atlee's film.
