Netizens react to Karan Johar’s MEAN COMMENTS to Deepika Padukone in front of Priyanka Chopra

Karan Johar never fails to make news in whatever he does. Be it his freewheeling judging skills, brand endorsements, producing films and directing them to dancing without any inhibitions… this man really seems to knows the Ps and Qs of the audiences. Of late, what one has observed is that, Karan Johar has been at the receiving end of late. After being subjected to heavy criticism in regards to the nepotism issue, there came a phase when Karan Johar was being subjected to major boycott on social media and was trolled mercilessly. A couple of days ago, we had reported about Karan Johar being trolled for a tweet that had a clip from an old episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’, which had him saying that there was a time when he wanted to murder Anushka Sharma’s career. And on the couch were Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra. Even though Karan Johar maintained utmost strictness when replying to this tweet, everyone almost knew what he was referring to.

Karan Johar had written a few couplets in Hindi, which served as a cryptic clue to the tweet which was ‘addressed’ to him. He had posted on social media stating, “Laga lo ilzaam, hum jhukne waalon mein se nahi.. jhoot ka ban jao ghulam...., hum bolne waalon mein se nahi..., jitna neecha dikhaoge..., jitne aarop lagaoge..., hum girne waalon mein se nahi..., humara karam humari Vijay hai...aap utha lo talvaar... Hum marne waalon mein se nahi...(You can levy allegations, we are not amongst those who will bow down , Become a slave to lies, We won't say anything, The more you put me down, the more you will levy allegations, we are not going to fall. Our success is our good deeds. You pick up the sword; We are not amongst those who will die).”

This time round, Karan Johar is creating news once again, courtesy the same episode of ‘Koffee With Karan’ which had Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra as the guests. The clip, which is going viral has Karan Johar asking Deepika Padukone, “Who else have you been friendly with?”. To which, Deepika Padukone says, “I have been friendly with Anushka, I have been friendly with Katrina…” To which, Karan Johar stops sipping his coffee from his mug with a jerk as questions Deepika, “You are friendly with Anushka…sorry… I nearly choked on that. Sorry… You are friendly with who?” Deepika Padukone then replies “OK... in my head, I am”. Karan Johar quickly cuts her off and says, “I think that all these emotions are only in your head” Deepika then says, “I think I am living in this bubble….” Even before Deepika Padukone finishes her lines, Karan tells her, “I think you are. If you think that you are Anushka Sharma’s friend, then, you are definitely living in a bubble”. Hearing that, all the three – Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra break into peels of laughter.

In no time, Karan Johar was subjected to many comments from the netizens. These comments ranged from ‘Anushka is very real and reserved person. She is very real inside out. She definitely doesn’t care about anybody and anything and probably doesn’t have anything for Deepika!!! I don’t understand why @karanjohar put fire and chillies between two people’, to ‘That was super rude’, and ‘That was so awkward. I mean really. At least dude have some decency’.
