If you missed out on our recapping of Day 3 of Geeked Week, watch it here. Day 4 was bursting with announcements about the major Animation and Anime projects we would be watching on the small screens in the near future. Let's take a quick look at these interesting projects.
Twilight of the Gods
From director Zack Snyder comes a North Mythology inspired animated series with an ensemble star cast which includes the likes of John Noble, Lauren Cohen, Rahul Kohli, Jamie Chung, Jamie Clayton, Kristopher Hivju, Paterson Joseph, Peter Stormare and many more.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation
The cult classic series of the 80s is getting a sequel with Kevin Smith helming the project as both showrunner and executive producer. This upcoming adult animated superhero fantasy just dropped an exclusive trailer. Check it out.
Shaman King
This is based on the acclaimed Manga series by Hiroyuki Takei. It revolves around a Shaman, You Asakura, a medium between the dead and living’s worlds.
The Loud House Movie
The beloved family series on Nickelodeon, made by Chris Savino based on his own family life, is going to see a new home on Netflix in the form of a movie. It is set to release on August 20, 2021.
Transformers: War for Cybertron: Kingdom
The third instalment in the War of Cybertron trilogy will stream on July 29 with Kingdom, and it promises an epic battle to feast your eyes on the stunning visuals.
Exception
This upcoming horror anime series will be written by Hirotaka Adachi, based on designs by Yoshitaka Amano. Sounds like the best of both worlds for anime and horror fans.
Godzilla
A new trailer of Godzilla Singular Point dropped yesterday. This anime series is based in the Godzilla world in 2030 and is set to release on June 24.
Bright: Samurai Soul
Set in the Meiji Restoration era in Japan, this series, directed by Kyohei Ishiguro, will follow “Izo, a Ronin, and Raiden, an orc, as they work to bring a young elf girl and the wand she carries to the land of the elves in the north.”
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway
This series, which has been created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, follows Hathaway Noa, who starts a terrorist group to counter the abuses of the Earth’s Federation.
