Matt Bomer has joined the cast of the upcoming Australian psychological thriller series, Echoes. The Netflix series stars Michelle Monaghan in the leading role.
The series created and written by Vanessa Gazy revolves around identical twins, Leni and Gina, essayed by Monaghan of Mission Impossible fame.The series will follow the twins, who have shared everything from their childhood to their adulthood, including two husbands, two houses and a child while swapping their lives with each other. Everything changes when one of the twins goes missing
Bomer is set to play the seemingly perfect husband, Jack Beck to Leni. He has been described as the boy next door who grew into the perfect husband, wanted by all. He is a loving father and a valuable member of the community.
Jack has a successful veterinary practice and also runs a horse farm on his ancestral land. Due to his wife’s disappearance, Jack has the most to lose as his wife’s secrets tumble to the surface.
The actor shared the post on his instagram, professing his excitement at working with the cast and crew.
Brian Yorkey of 13 Reasons Why will be co-running and executive producing with Quinton Peeples. Vanessa Grazy will also be the executive producer of the show along with Imogen Banks and Endemol Shine Banks Australia.
Bomer is famous for his roles in the series White Collar, The Sinner, American Horror Story and Doom Patrol. He was nominated for an Emmy for The Normal Heart, a HBO production.
