A new Tamil film is in the making. The first look of Nesippaya, the upcoming Tamil film starring actors Akash Murali and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles, was released by the makers, on Friday. The team conducted an event in Chennai to launch the first look, which was graced by actor Nayanthara.

Nesippaya first look out

Nesippaya is an upcoming Tamil film starring Aditi Shankar and Akash Murali. The film will mark the latter's acting debut. Akash Murali is son of late veteran actor Murali and brother of Atharvaa Murali. Nesippaya is touted to be a romantic drama and is directed by filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan.

The first look shows Aditi and Akash in an embrace in what may appear as the back seat of a vehicle. The team also released individual character posters of the lead actors who will be playing Arjun and Diya in the film. Several known actors like Nayanthara and Arya graced the first look poster launch event of the film.

Apart from Aditi and Akash, the film will also feature some known faces, including actors R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Raja, Kushboo, and Kalki Koechlin. However, their roles are kept under wraps.

Nesippaya is directed by filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan known for films like Sarvam, Billa and Pattiyal. The filmmaker last directed Hindi film Shershaah. However, his last directorial in Tamil was the 2015 film Yatchan. Nesippaya will mark the director's return to Tamil after nine years.

The film is produced by XB Film Creations. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for Nesippaya. The technical crew consists of Cameron Eric Bryson handling the cinematography and Sreekar Prasad as the editor. Saravanan Vasanth is the production designer and Pa Vijay along with Adesh Krishna have written the lyrics.

Vishnu Vardhan has co-written the script of Nesippaya along with Neelan Sekar. A release date for Nesippaya is yet to be announced.
