The show fosters entrepreneurial spirit among women where the contestants will be mentored by ‘Angels’, a group of successful entrepreneurs
Leading Telugu OTT platform is coming up with Nenu Super Woman, one of the most anticipated business reality shows in the digital space. A new episode of the show will premiere on the streamer every Friday and Saturday starting July 21. The series promises to be a fitting showcase of women's resilience, tenacity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Nenu Super Woman provides its contestants with a platform to turn their business dreams into reality. In the first weekend, the ‘angels’ - popular entrepreneurs who’ve come on board as mentors and guides, invested over Rs 1.35 crores on the startups of the contestants. This is certainly a testament to their unwavering commitment to nurture women’s dreams from different walks of life.
The ‘angels’ in Nenu Super Woman include Rohit Chennamaneni (co-founder of Darwinbox), Sridhar Gadhi (Founder and Executive Chairman of Quantela Inc), Renuka Bodla (Venture Partner of Silverneedle Ventures), Sudhakar Reddy (Founder and CEO of Abhi Bus), Dodla Deepa Reddy (Founder of Dodla Dairy), Karan Bajaj (Bajaj Electronics) and Sindhura Ponguru (Director of Narayana Colleges).
The show is being hosted by Sreerama Chandra, who’d taken up a similar role in the the first season of the music show Telugu Indian Idol. Rohit Chennamaneni, called Nenu Super Woman a game-changer for aspiring women entrepreneurs, said it offered them a unique platform to showcase their ideas. Karan Bajaj stated he was excited to share his experiences with budding entrepreneurs.
Renuka Bodla recollected her humble beginnings and shared she’s inspired to see many woman entrepreneurs share with their business prototypes/ideas. She labelled this a groundbreaking initiative to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of women. Sindhura Ponguru felt the show will herald a new era in Telugu states and wished to support women in their pursuit of building successful businesses.
Sridhar Gadhi added that the show helped him identify many amazing ideas and understand how women are interested in entrepreneurship. This is a testament to their potential and creativity, he opined. Deepthi Ravula, CEO of WeHub, and Vaasudev Koppineni, Content Head of aha, are hopeful of the show's ability to create a positive impact.
