Bellamkonda Ganesh, the son of noted producer Bellamkonda Suresh and younger brother of actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas made his Tollywood debut with the film Swathimuthyam in the year 2022. His second film, Nenu Student Sir was released on June 2, 2023, and ended as a below-par watch on the big screen. The film started with a passable word of mouth but it fell flat at the once box office after its first weekend.

Nenu Student Sir is about a student who gets involved in a scam when crores of money get deposited into his account. It was directed by a first-time filmmaker Rakhi Uppalapati on a moderate budget. The promotions of the film were also done in a very innovative manner. Maine Pyaar Kiya fame Bhagyashree’s daughter Avantika Dassani made her acting debut with the action thriller and she was appreciated for her role.

The chemistry between the lead pair was also spoken about in all the reviews that came out post the film's release. Bellamkonda Ganesh played an innocent student who lands in a massive scam and how he takes on a mighty opposition was showcased in this film. The film's conflict point is highlighted well in the first half but the proceedings fail to entertain in the latter part said most of the reviews.

On the other hand, we at OTTplay had already reported that the digital rights of the film have been grabbed by Aha for a fancy price and the latest news is that the film will be out on July 14, 2023. Naandhi-fame Satish Varma produced the project under SV2 Entertainment and they spent a lot of money on the action episodes of the film.

Mahati Swara Sagar, who worked on the music for Ganesh’s debut Swathimuthyam also worked on this film as the music director. Krishna Chaitanya has written the story and Kalyan Chakravarthy is the dialogue writer for this action drama. Meanwhile, Bellamkonda Ganesh will soon announce his new project with a debut director as per the news.
