What is Neeraja about?
Neeraja is a widow whose husband died in an accident. She had married her husband without the consent of their families. Neeraja lives a desolate life after her husband's death, living in the memories of her spouse.
Two years after her husband's demise, Neeraja consults with a psychologist. Her parents want her to get married again. Neeraja wants to stay faithful to her dead husband but also wants her sexual needs met. She meets Anil, a man who is unhappy in his married life, and they forge a friendship. What happens next forms the crux of the story.
