Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha have no TRP fight at home

Television power couple Neel Bhattacharya and Trina Saha have always been in news. Recently, their marital life was in focus. Despite the rumours of their break up, they completed two years of their marital life in the last month. Both of them dismissed the speculations of split and said, ‘all is well’.

Their social media Reels are also extremely popular on social media. Just a few days back, Neel and Trina immersed themselves in the romantic mood of the lovely spring. Trina is currently acting in the Star Jalsha serial Balijhar, and Neel is acting in the same channel’s Bangla medium. Previously they appeared in two competing channels. Now their channels are the same, but they compete with each other in the TRP battle.

Bangla Medium is getting beaten by Zee Bangla’s Nim Fuler Modhu. On the other hand, Balijhar faces a clear defeat by the two-year-old Mithai. The TRP report cards of both serials are pretty challenging. But Trina claims that she is not bothered with the TRP, and it is Neel who gets tensed. Do they discuss the TRP during food? In an interview with Hindustan Times Bangla, Trina said, “I would not say that we never discuss. But TRP does not matter to me very much. It matters to Neel. We see things differently. We do not have any competition but rather inspire each other. We criticise each other’s works, but never say something like your serial’s TRP is low and mine is high.”

Does she get time to watch Neel’s serial? Trina said, “Frankly speaking, I do not. If some clippings come on Instagram or social media, I watch them. Neel also does not get time to see my serial.”

Trina is also simultaneously working on the OTT platforms. Hoichoi’s Gobhir Joler Mach, starring Trina, was released in February. As it seems, she has been balancing everything well.
