Nayanthara, Vignesh Shivan's adorable Onam celebration pics take the internet by storm

One of the charming couples of Kollywood, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, surprised everyone last year when they expressed excitement about becoming parents to twin babies. Earlier this year, they chose Uyir and Ulagam as the names of their kids. Though their surrogacy case hit the headlines for a few days, fans stood by them and the Tamil Nadu government cleared the row later.

Their wedding, which was held at Mahabalipuram last year, was one of the most-hyped events related to Tamil cinema in recent times. The likes of Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan and Mani Ratnam among others attended the affair.

First Onam celebration for Nayanthara, Vignesh's kids

Vignesh has now taken to his Instagram page to post pics of their Onam celebration. This is the first festival of Uyir and Ulagam, and the couple is super excited. A pic of Nayan and Vignesh looking at each other in a romantic pose is doing the rounds on social media.

Another click featuring them having the Onam sadya with the toddlers is winning the hearts of netizens. Vignesh's post read, "First Onam with my Uyir & Ulagam. #GodBless. As the festival starts early here ! Wishing everyone in advance a very happy ONAM (sic)."

Vignesh is yet to announce his next, Nayan awaiting Jawan

The director was supposed to begin work on AK 62, starring Ajith earlier this year. However, he opted out of the project which had Magizh Thirumeni replacing him. Lyca Productions is the producer of the film which is likely to go on floors soon.

Nayanthara, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of her Bollywood debut Jawan. The movie, which has her paired opposite Shah Rukh Khan, is hitting the screens on September 7.
