One of the most eagerly anticipated films from director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is Baiju Bawra. Over the years, a number of rumors regarding the movie's casting have surfaced, but Bhansali has kept viewers guessing. It was previously reported that Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh would star in the movie. According to a recent report, Nayanthara will also work on the project.

Nayanthara, whom everyone recently saw and adored in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan, has reportedly been approached for a substantial role in SLB's historical drama, according to a report by ETimes. Nayanthara hasn't signed on the dotted line yet. But she is unquestionably taken into consideration. The terms are being worked out by all parties, and a decision may be made soon enough.

It's interesting to note that this will be Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh's third collaboration following Gully Boy by Zoya Akhtar and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani by Karan Johar. In addition, after Gangubai Kathiawadi, Baiju Bawra will bring the actress and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali back together. After Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat, this will be Bhansali's fourth collaboration with Ranveer.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is now preoccupied with his upcoming film, Heeramandi. The web series, which is based on courtesans' lives, will present the true tales of three generations of courtesans in the pre-independence Indian area of Heera Mandi. The show's cast, which includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sanjdeeda Sheikh, Richa Chadha, and others, is already creating a lot of anticipation.
