Nayanthara celebrates Christmas with her husband and twins, see photos

Nayanthara has shared photos of celebrating Christmas with her husband Vignesh Shivan and her twin children, Uyir and Ulag.

Tamil actor Nayanthara has shared photos on her Instagram page giving a glimpse into her Christmas celebrations. Nayanthara, her husband Vignesh Shivan and her twin children, Uyir and Ulag, seem to have embraced the festival with great fervour, including decorating a Christmas tree, wearing Santa hats and yes, exchanging gifts. "Merry Christmas to everyone who believes in love & prayers Believe in God and all the powerful manifestations that keep you alive," she captioned the photos.

On the career front, Nayanthara has multiple projects in different stages of work. The year 2023 marked a significant chapter in her career as she made a grand debut in Bollywood with director Atlee's Jawan. In the action drama, she essayed the role of a cop who falls in love with a vigilante, played by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The film opened to packed houses across the world and earned more than Rs 1000 crore from its worldwide ticket sales. Jawan became Nayanthara's first movie to achieve such a huge box office feat.

In the meantime, she also had great success as a producer. She bankrolled a small-budget film named Koozhangal along with her husband under the banner Rowdy Pictures. The film played across several international festivals and also became India's official entry for the Oscars at the 94th Academy Awards. However, the film was not nominated.

Earlier this year Koozhangal made its debut on streaming and garnered a lot of appreciation from critics and audiences alike.

Nayanthara also had two other releases this year - Iraivan and Annapoorani. However, despite created significant anticipation before their release, the movies failed to strike a chord with the audiences at the box office. While Iraivan is already streaming on Netflix, Annapoorani will arrive on the same platform on December 29.
