Navdeep announces Dhandoraa: Cast, director, genre, and release date here

Navdeep has teamed up with Sivaji for a rural drama titled Dhandoraa. The film was launched on December 11, 2024.

Navdeep, one of the most talented actors in Telugu cinema, has been consistently taking on back-to-back projects. He was last seen in the Aha series Newsense, where he earned widespread praise for his portrayal of a corrupt journalist. However, his recent film Love Mouli, on which Navdeep had pinned high hopes, failed at the box office.

Now, Navdeep has launched another film, and this time, it comes with a special highlight. The makers of the National Award-winning film Color Photo, Loukya Entertainments, are backing this new project, titled Dhandoraa. The film was officially launched today in Hyderabad, and we’ve gathered some exclusive details about it.

Dhandoraa is a village drama set against the backdrop of Telangana and explores age-old customs that negatively impact modern society in rural areas. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including seasoned actors Sivaji and Ravi Kumar in pivotal roles. Rahul Ramakrishna, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, and Anusha also feature in key roles.

Directed by Muralikanth and produced by Ravindra Banerjee Muppaneni, Dhandoraa has Mark K Robin composing the music, Venkat R Shakamuri handling cinematography, Garry BH as the editor, and Krathi Priyam as the art director.

The film's shooting is set to begin soon, with the makers aiming for a summer 2025 release. With a stellar cast and an intriguing premise, Dhandoraa is poised to captivate audiences.
