The actress spoke exclusively to OTTplay on the occasion of ‘National Pet Day’
After being a part of many serials like ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai: Take 2’ ‘Chandrashekhar’, ‘Yeh Hai Chahatein’, ‘Trideviyaan’, ‘Saas Bina Sasural’ and many more, the extremely talented and down to earth actress Aishwarya Sakhuja became a household name. And being an ardent pet lover, it was only right that we speak to the lady herself as today is being celebrated as ‘National Pet Day’ all over. We all know that the pet animals are truly a man's companion, and can help uplift emotions and sprits. They definitely are the ones who cab comfort anyone with their unconditional love and loyalty. On the occasion of ‘National Pets Day’, TV actress Aishwarya Sakhuja spoke exclusively to OTTplay all about how she is planning to celebrate the day and expressing her love and admiration for her pets. She also shared with us that, adopting her two adorable dogs Floki and Hippie was the best decision of her life.
Speaking about her bond with her dogs, Aishwarya Sakhuja (who is an ardent pet lover), said, “We adopted Floki and Hippie during COVID. Trust me when I say that, this decision changed our lives forever. Our pets have transformed us as ‘human beings’. They have made us more responsible and patient. They have filled our lives with immense positivity, happiness, and love”. As a pet parent, Aishwarya further added, “I always look forward to playing with my dogs and cuddling with them whenever I am away for a shoot or on vacation. I always cherish Floki and Hippie by spending quality time with them”.
Recalling her travel memories with her dogs, Aishwarya Sakhuja said, “Floki is my best travel partner. He has accompanied me multiple times for the shoots to Naigaon, and he truly enjoys the open space of Naigaon”. She added that “Hippie has not travelled with her yet, but she is looking forward to the trip with him.” The actress also emphasizes the importance of treating pets as family members and encourages everyone to adopt rather than buy pets from breeders. She believes that adopting a pet can bring companionship to one's life.
