National Award-winning Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay, who met with a bike accident on Saturday night, succumbed to his injuries on Monday. On June 12, Vijay, who had suffered major injuries to his head and leg, was rushed to a private hospital in Bengaluru, where he was admitted in critical condition.
Vijay had gone out with his friend Naveen on a two-wheeler which reportedly skidded and collided with an electric pole.
