In a chat with OTTplay, Ishaan Ghose expresses his happiness for his team.
Even after an hour of the announcement of their name as a special mention at the 69th National Awards, Aranya Gupta was still nonchalant. With a deluge of congratulatory messages, the artist-actor was taking time to soak in the merriment. Later, Aranya told OTTplay, “I did not expect this. I am still reeling the fact that our names were recognised.”
His director, Ishaan Ghose, was at the top of the world by then. “Both Gorky (Aranya Gupta) and Bitan (Biswas) delivered very subtle and muted performances and hence people did not talk about it overwhelmingly. I am very happy that these two’s effort was recognised.

On the other hand, Aneesh Basu bagged the Best Sound Design Award at the 69th National Awards for Jhilli. “He really worked hard for Jhilli,” said the director, adding, “Such recognitions were much needed for us.”
