The actress will next be seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which stars Pawan Kalyan, Niddhi Agerwal and Arjun Rampal.
Nargis Fakhri seems to be well aware of the importance of taking a break and keeping aside some time for oneself in a busy work schedule. The actress recently opened up about why she chose to take a step back from acting.
In conversation with Pinkvilla, Fakhri talked about how her busy schedule rarely gave her days off. Even when she did get a day off, she couldn't spend time with her loved ones and recharge as they were a 24 hour plane ride away. At that point, the actress had asked herself why she was working so hard when she didn't even get a chance to enjoy the ‘fruits of her labour’.
She recalled how people reacted when she first made her decision of taking a few months off. Fakhri said that people had told her that she would be forgotten and others would take her place. But the actress said that she just had to take that chance, and was glad that she did. “I'm happy that I wasn't scared into continuing in the rat race, because then it would've been even worse for me”, she said.
The actress said that when she took the decision, the fact that people told her she would be forgotten did not play on her mind, as it did not feel important to her at the time. She talked about how people can do everything they wanted in their lifetime, but not at the same time. At that time, taking some time for herself was what Fakhri really needed.
Fakhri will next be seen in the Telugu film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, in which she will share the screen with Pawan Kalyan, Niddhi Agerwal and Arjun Rampal.
