Nani unveils Aha original Ardha Shathabdham’s trailer

Ardha Shathabdham features Karthik Rathnam and Krishna Priya as the protagonists.

Telugu star Nani unveiled the trailer of Aha’s next original film, Ardha Shathabdham, on June 2. Starring Karthik Rathnam and Krishna Priya as the protagonists, the movie focuses on the subject of inter-caste marriage.

Karthik plays the role of a lower-class man Krishna who is in love with a girl from the upper class, Pushpa (Krishna). Thus, Pushpa’s on-screen father, played by Subhalekha Sudhakar, gets furious. As an MLA, he uses his powers to order the execution of every person supporting Pushpa and Krishna, till he finds the couple and kills them himself.

The trailer has two important aspects - raw emotions and intense action. It also promises good music composed by Nawafal Raja.

Soon after unveiling the trailer, Nani shared his excitement about watching the film. He also seems to be impressed by not only the socially relevant storyline but also the performance of the cast.

The makers of Ardha Shathabdham shared the teaser of the film on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti. The film is, in a way, a tribute to the reformist who fought for the acceptance of those belonging to the lower caste. The clip was welcomed with a lot of love at the time of its release.

Apart from Karthik, Sai and Krishna, the movie also stars Naveen Chandra and Sai Kumar in key roles. The Rawindra Pulle directorial is slated for June 11 release.

Aha will also be releasing their web series In The Name Of God on the same day i.e. on June 11. The crime-drama-thriller stars Priyadarshi and Nandini Rai in the lead roles.
