Nani established himself as one of the most sought-after talents of South cinema, with back-to-back unique films. The talented actor always chose content-driven films over the glossy mass entertainers. In a recent interview with a leading Malayalam daily, Nani opened up his deep admiration for Malayalam cinema and expressed the desire to work with talented filmmakers and writers from the industry, in the future. Reportedly, Nani is now set to team up with Malayalam director Vipin Das, for his next.
Nani teams up with Guruvayoorambala Nadayil director Vipin Das?
According to the latest reports by Telugu 360.com, Nani is finally set to fulfill his longtime desire to work with the talents of the Malayalam film industry. If the reports are to be believed, the actor is gearing up to join hands with Vipin Das, the talented director who helmed the highly acclaimed Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey and blockbuster Guruvayoorambala Nadayil, for his next outing. The recent updates suggest that the popular Telugu star and filmmaker are planning to announce their first collaboration, very soon.
The recent updates by Telugu 360.com also suggest that Sahu Garapati, who bankrolled Nani’s popular outing Tuck Jagadish under the banner Shine Screens, is set to produce the Vipin Das directorial. The Guruvayoorambala Nadayil director recently pitched a story to the actor, who instantly loved it. Nani instantly said Yes to the film, and the scripting of the project had already begun. If things go as planned, the untitled project will start rolling by the beginning of January 2026.

Nani and Vipin Das’ next projects
As reported earlier, Nani is currently busy with the shooting of HIT 3, directed by Sailesh Kolanu. The third instalment of the highly celebrated franchise, is gearing up to have a summer 2025 release. After the release of HIT 3, the popular star is expected to kickstart the filming of his upcoming action film, directed by Dasara fame director Srikanth Odela, by the mid-2025.
Vipin Das, on the other hand, recently made his production debut with acclaimed film Vaazha. The director is now busy with the filming of his second production venture, Vyasanasametham Bandhumithradhikal, in which he also serves as the creative director. The talented filmmaker is expected to reunite with Guruvayoorambala Nadayil leading man Prithviraj Sukumaran for his upcoming directorial venture Santhosh Trophy, by the second quarter of 2025.
