It was announced recently that the trailer of Venkat Prabhu's Silambarasan-starrer Maanaadu will be out on October 2. On Wednesday, producer Suresh Kamatchi informed that he will come up with an update soon on the list of celebs who will unveil the trailer.
Putting an end to various speculation which did the rounds on social media, he took to Twitter to announce that the trailer of the movie's Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions will be released by Nani, Nivin Pauly and Rakshit Shetty respectively. The trailer's Tamil version will be unveiled by filmmaker AR Murugadoss.
Earlier this year, the Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu versions of its teaser was released by Anurag Kashyap, Prithviraj, Kichcha Sudeep and Ravi Teja respectively. The one minute teaser was lapped up by movie lovers and fans of Silambarasan alike; some even went on to compare it with Tenet because of the time travel concept in it. The makers had earlier announced that Maanaadu will release with the title Rewind in other languages.
The film is expected to hit the screens on the occasion of Deepavali, on November 4. Though Rajinikanth-starrer Annaatthe is the other film which had earlier announced its release on the same date, looks like movie buffs can expect lot of surprises in the coming days with regard to a shuffle in the release dates.
Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead in the action thriller which is set against the backdrop of politics. Yuvan Shankar Raja and Praveen have handled music and editing respectively for Maanaadu which has SJ Suryah, Bharathiraaja and Premgi Amaren among others playing significant roles in it. Richard M Nathan has cranked the camera while Stunt Silva has choreographed action sequences. The movie was recently in the news when Silambarasan posted a picture of him from the dubbing session.
