Hi Nanna is a film that many Nani fans across the globe are keenly awaiting on December 7. With perfect planning, the makers wrapped up the shoot on time, leaving themselves a good window to promote the film across multiple industries. Shouryuv makes his directorial debut with the father-daughter drama produced by Vyra Entertainments. At the trailer launch yesterday, Nani interacted with his fans.

Opening up about the film, he shared, “It feels like, you are ragging us and we’re at a college event. One of them asked, where’s mom (amma)? I think your father must know better. I need to wear these glasses for the next 10 days. Hi Nanna is the first time I was impressed with my look on screen. You’ve watched the teaser, trailer and songs but there are a lot of surprises in the film. You’ll fall in love with it.”

“Cinema is like oxygen to me. Trust me, you will all fall in love with the film on December 7. You (addressing fans) must take care of the box office. I have watched the film entirely and am very confident,” Nani added. The actor praised his fans as he stated, “We’re privileged to have an audience like you. Many keep telling how they won’t accept new stories; you’ve been consistently proving them wrong.”

Nani mentioned that one of his favourite moments recently was when his son Arjun called him his favourite actor. “He hasn’t watched many films but the fact that he said that made me very happy.” When a fan compared the film with Jersey, “I don’t need to say much about the difference in emotion between a father-son and father-daughter equation. Hi Nanna will leave you moist eyed.”
