When director Tharun Kishore Sudhir announced that he would be collaborating with Challenging Star Darshan for his next venture, fans were super ecstatic about the prospects. The duo has already delivered a major success in the form of Roberrt which saw the Dboss don not one but multiple vibrant avatars and with this in mind, the stakes are doubly high as far as 'D56' is concerned. And to live up to these expectations and repeat the magic, looks like Tharun Sudhir is including the best resources as part of his team.

Yes, as per the latest reports, veteran Telugu & Tamil actor Jagapathi Babu will be part of the 'D56' cast. While the makers are yet to make an official confirmation about the same, social media is buzzing with speculations that Jagapathi Babu will work with Tharun Sudhir and Darshan once again in the upcoming socio-action drama. Many would remember that the senior actor played the role of Nanabhai, one of the main antagonists, in the 2021 film Roberrt.

In this vein, netizens reckon that Jagapathi Babu would be brought on board to play the negative lead in 'D56' but should Tharun Sudhir, who also serves as the writer of the film, choose to surprise us, the actor could well be seen in a different role.

Jagapathi Babu's filmography of the recent past includes many antagonist roles in films like Lingaa, Rangasthalam, and Madhagaja, among others. He will also be seen in a rather rugged avatar in Prashanth Neel's Salaar (as Rajamanaar) and is part of the extended cast of R. Chandru's magnum opus Kabzaa.

As far as 'D56' is concerned, the film went on floors earlier this during Vijayadashami. On the same day, the makers surprised all the fans with a special announcement that Kanasina Rani Malashree's daughter Ananya Ramu will make her debut with the film - she has been rechristened as Radhana Ram for the screen.
