Naga Chaitanya made headlines when he announced his engagement to actress Sobitha Dhulipala. This news came out of nowhere and surprised everyone. The wedding will happen soon, as Chaitanya is currently busy wrapping up his new film Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

The action drama is being produced by Bunny Vas on a grand scale under the GA2 Pictures banner. A significant amount of money has been invested in this film, which also stars Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Meanwhile, we at OTTplay have learned that Chaitanya has signed yet another film.

Going into details, Chaitanya has given the green light to a new film with debut director Kishore. A few days ago, Kishore met with Chaitanya and narrated the script. Since Chaitanya loved the story, he approved the project. This film is quite special, as none other than the makers of Baahubali, Arka Media Works, will produce it on a large budget.

The casting, logistics, and other aspects of the project are currently being worked on, and once everything is finalized, the film will be officially announced on a grand scale. It’s also reported that this film will go on floors in the first week of March 2025.

After the success of Baahubali, producer Shobu Yarlagadda hasn’t produced many films and has been taking things slowly. With Chaitanya's film, he is expected to return to making a big-budget film with popular stars.

On another note, Naga Chaitanya has high hopes for Thandel, where he plays a rugged fisherman. He sports an impressive look in the film and shares strong chemistry with Sai Pallavi. Chandoo Mondeti, riding high on the success of Karthikeya 2, is generating excitement about what he will bring with Thandel.
