Kalki 2898 AD is just a few hours from its release on June 27, 2024. Nag Ashwin has directed the magnum opus and has Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in key roles. Well, just ahead of the film's release, Nag Ashwin has come live on Instagram and revealed some juicy inputs about the film.
Nag Ashwin opens up on Kalki 2898 AD
Firstly, he confirmed that Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in cameos in the film. Then, he revealed that Prabhas would make an entry into the film only in the 22nd minute of the proceedings. But one of the biggest statements of Nag Ashwin is when he told a fan, "Be ready to go silent and get awestruck while watching Kalki 2898 Ad".

The star director also adds that out of all the characters in the film, it will be Bhairava, played by Prabhas which everyone will take home. This statement of his just hours before the film has taken the excitement level to another level.
The special aspect of Insta live was the presence of Prabhas along with Nag Ashwin. Prabhas also gave the hint to the fans that the film has links to the Mahabharata, and his character is going to be super special in the film.
Special shows are being held all over the world for Kalki, and the day-one numbers are going to be huge, as per the news. Nag Ashwin last made Mahanati six years ago, and he is now back with a futuristic film that has a mythological backdrop.
