The makers of Malayalam upcoming film Nadikar has dropped the first song from the movie today (March 30). The soundtrack titled ‘Omal Kanave’ is sung by Job Kurian. Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair have composed the music for this song. Vinayak Sasikumar has penned the lyrics for the soundtrack.
The origin story of the movie's main character, superstar David Padikkal, who lost his father when he was a young boy, is depicted in the music video. David's mother drops him off at a convent boarding school after finding a new husband, and leaves the country with him.
In a fleeting cameo, Chandhunadh portrays David's father, and Divya Pillai plays his mother. It makes clear of David's difficult upbringing and his longing for his parents' warmth and affection. By the end of the video, Tovino Thomas—who played David Padikkal—is seen standing behind the younger version of himself.

Tovino Thomas’ Nadikar to release on May 3
One of Tovino Thomas's most anticipated releases of the year this movie is directed by Lal Jr. The first Nadikar poster, resembling a banknote and featuring Tovino at its centre, shows glimpses of every character in the film. Additionally, it has been disclosed that the movie will debut in theatres on May 3.

Soubin Shahir, Balu Varghese, Lal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Suresh Krishna, Manikuttan, Shine Tom Chacko, Veena Nandakumar, Anoop Menon, and Madhupal are among the ensemble cast members of Nadikar. Bhavana portrays the female lead. The film was shot in thirty locations, including Hyderabad, Kochi, Dubai, and Munnar.
Claimed to be a full-fledged entertainer, the film is being produced with an approximate budget of Rs 40 crore, having been shot over 120 days in various locations.
